Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute Recruitment 2026 – Technical and Auxiliary Staff

Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati, under Tata Memorial Centre, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has invited online applications for 19 contractual vacancies under Advertisement No. 59/2026. The recruitment is for the Pediatric and Adult Haematolymphoid Unit and includes Pharmacist, Biomedical Technician and Trade Helper posts.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

1. Pharmacist ‘C1’ (Project)

1. Qualification: B.Pharm or D.Pharm.
2. Mandatory registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
3. Experience: Minimum 4 years in a hospital dispensary or pharmacy.
4. Age limit: 29 years.

2. Technician ‘C’ (Biomedical) (Project)

1. Qualification: Diploma in Medical Electronics or Biomedical.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years in medical equipment maintenance and operation.
3. Age limit: 29 years.

3. Trade Helper (Project)

1. Qualification: Class 10 pass or equivalent from a recognised board.
2. Experience: Minimum 1 year of hospital service.
3. Age limit: 25 years.

Age relaxation: Up to 5 years for eligible TMC employees, including those working on a temporary, project or contractual basis.

Job Location and Appointment Duration

1. Job Location: Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati, Assam.
2. Appointment Type: Temporary and purely contractual.
3. Initial Duration: 6 months, extendable based on satisfactory performance and subject to the project period.

The appointment does not provide any right to permanent employment at BBCI or continuation in another project.
